Classes are finally over!!! now a lot of studying for the finals. The Principles of New Media class was really productive. The most important lesson for me as a business student is that it made me aware of the advantages of the new technology on businesses. we can use blogs, wikis and social networking sites to have a closer relationship with customers having continuing feedback about products and customer service.

Social Bookmarking!!!

Wanted to share this term which I found very interesting:

Social bookmarking is the practice of saving bookmarks to a public website and “tagging” them with keywords. You register to a social bookmarking website which lets you store bookmarks, add tags of
your choice, and designate individual bookmarks as public or private. The purpose of these websites is that visitors can search for resources by keyword, person,or popularity.

About Social Networking!!

while continuing my research for my presentation in social networking I found this article. I did not know about this "Facebook" for children!!! In my opinion children under 13 years old should not have social networking pages and parents should not allow it.
